RN- Nurse Aide Evaluator – VA, Roanoke **FULL-TIME/TRAVEL** Full Time

Job Summary: Nurse Aide Evaluator – Registered Nurse Required (FULL-TIME with instate Traveling)

1. You will proctor a written exam and/or a practical skills exam for candidates completing the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program® (NNAAP®) exam.
2. The skills demonstration exam is timed and consists of observing the nurse aide candidate demonstrate five randomly selected skills from a predetermined test pool of practical skills.
3. Locations for testing will be provided to you, based on your availability.
4. The time commitment is flexible and varies per the number of candidates to be tested.

Requirements, Essential Duties, and Responsibilities: The essential duties of the position include the following (Other duties may be assigned).

1. Registered nurses who meet the OBRA 1987-1989 standards of having at least one year of experience caring for the elderly or chronically ill of any age.
2. Current nursing license in good standing and active for a minimum of two years.
3. Must carry automobile liability insurance, if personally driving to actual scheduled events on behalf of Credentia.
4. Intermediate technical skills and experience with common applications such as web browsers, email, and pdf files.

2. For Full-time, must be available to work a minimum of 4 events each week.  Part-time requirement is 3-4 days per month.
3. Must be able to provide regular, predictable attendance and punctuality for each shift
4. Must be able to work on-site at testing location(s); In-state will be required for full-time; part-time could require traveling 25-50 miles (at times)
5. Physical Demands Ability to speak and hear for duration of shift Ability to stand, walk, and hold a large notebook for duration of shift
6. Ability to see with clear vision up-close
7. Ability to use hands (handle or feel) and reach with hands and arms for the duration of shift
8. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
